HDD Drill Pipe

We provide the proper drill pipes (also called drill rods) for any horizontal directional drilling (HDD) projects. The HDD drill rods are compatible with Vermeer and Ditch Witch equipment. All of our HDD drilling pipes are made from high-strength steel available with steel grade G105 or G135 (135,000 psi minimum yield strength), so they can be used in extreme environments. We use state of art CNC machines and friction welding machine for all the threading and welding process. This allows our product to reach the industrial high level of precision and accuracy.

    2. Single Wall Drill Pipe
      Single wall drill pipe in Kaitong is made from special pipes used for petroleum. With a unique pipe end upsetting technique, the ends of our drill pipe are in line with API 5D standards
      The heat treatment for pipes allows for a steel grade of G105 or S135
    2. Dual Wall Drill Pipe
      HDD dual wall drill pipe is consisted of inner and outer pipes. During working, water or mud is delivered through the internal cavity of the inner pipe. The outer drill pipes are connected with screw thread, and the inner pipes are linked together with hexagonal pin and box connectors. In the time-sharing driving process, the inner and outer pipes convert into a shift mode to deliver the torque independently.
